Job Summary

This is a temporary or on-call position at Michigan State University. The successful candidate will participate in assessment events in the role of a healthcare provider, completing checklists of trainee behavior and providing feedback as needed. The position requires flexibility and reliability with scheduling and assignments, as well as the ability to work in a professional manner when interacting with learners, faculty, supervisors, and peers.

Work Environment

This position is on-call and may require variable work hours. The successful candidate will be expected to work in a clinical-like setting, portraying cases similar to those encountered in actual clinical settings. They may act as a healthcare provider in a situation or be teaching a special task. Health care providers are expected to consistently and accurately teach and portray the tasks and cases, and may also provide feedback and/or assess learners using specific measurement tools.
