The Equipment Rental Consultant is primarily responsible for assisting both telephone and walk-in clients with their rental requirements for a wide range of construction and industrial equipment.
This role serves as the initial point of contact for customers, focusing on understanding their equipment needs, negotiating terms, and processing orders efficiently.
Additionally, the position demands strong organizational skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer satisfaction through a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications for Success:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- A valid Driver's license is mandatory
- Familiarity with various construction and industrial tools and equipment is essential
Key Skills and Abilities:
- Previous experience in the equipment rental sector is advantageous
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proficient in computer and administrative tasks
- Successful completion of the DOT Qualification process is preferred
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) may be beneficial in certain locations
The physical requirements of this role include bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds or more, with the possibility of working in both indoor and outdoor settings as needed.
