Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in occupational therapy and a strong background in working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services.
  • Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state license in Oregon.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
