Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance activities on our 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, as well as experience in supervising maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks, working closely with production to minimize downtime.
  • Track and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance function, including supplier performance, reliability, and overall effectiveness.
  • Provide long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and equipment failures.
  • Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
  • Allocate resources effectively to accomplish tasks, ensuring compliance with USDA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance in a heavy industrial manufacturing setting.
  • Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high pressure boiler, compressed air, mechanical and electrical fields.
  • Ability to lead resource planning efforts in a large manufacturing environment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is strongly preferred.

What We Offer:

  • $70,000 - $96,000 annual salary.
  • Shift differential of 10% for 2nd or 3rd shift.
  • 10% target bonus.
