Lead Groomer

The Lead Groomer is a key role at Scenthound, requiring expertise in dog grooming, leadership, and training. This position involves providing guidance to a team of groomers and bathers, ensuring high-quality services, and promoting a positive work environment.

• Lead a team of groomers and bathers, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Develop and implement grooming standards, ensuring consistency and quality across all services.
• Train new groomers, providing ongoing coaching and support to ensure they meet Scenthound's high standards.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the grooming experience for dogs and their owners.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of dogs and team members at all times.

• At least 1 year of grooming experience or graduation from a grooming school.
• Knowledge of dog breeds, care standards, and tools of the trade.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Reliable transportation.
• Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.
