Position Summary:

As a full-time technician, your primary responsibility will be to diagnose and execute repairs on a variety of pre-owned vehicles that come into our service department.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $32 to $40 per hour, compensated on a semi-monthly basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical issues in pre-owned vehicles
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify and troubleshoot vehicle problems
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding repairs and recommendations
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace
  • Follow dealership and manufacturer safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, ideally in a dealership environment
  • Must possess personal tools
  • Strong understanding of automotive systems and components
  • Ability to interpret and adhere to technical manuals and diagrams
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening
