Job Title: Home Visitor

Child & Family Service is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Visitor to join our team. As a Home Visitor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to children and families in their homes.

Job Summary

The Home Visitor will be responsible for delivering comprehensive services that support the healthy development of young children and their families. This includes providing parenting support, child development guidance, and connecting families with community resources.

Responsibilities
  • Provide home-based services to children and families, including parenting support and child development guidance.
  • Conduct regular home visits to assess the needs of children and families and develop individualized plans to support their growth and development.
  • Connect families with community resources and services to support their well-being and self-sufficiency.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting children and families.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in early childhood education and family support.
Requirements
  • Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education from an accredited college or university and six months working experience in an Early Childhood program.
  • Excellent communication, organization, supervision, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work as a team member.
  • Experience working with children ages 3-5 and their families.
  • Knowledge of community resources and the skills to link families with appropriate agencies and services.
