Under the direction of a Radiologist, you will perform bone densitometry procedures as ordered by a licensed provider and utilize independent judgment in determining appropriate techniques, positioning, and safety practices.

• Assist with and coordinate patient scheduling.
• Perform bone density exams, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and physical well-being; reduce patient anxiety by explaining the procedure process and answering questions.
• Distribute results to clinics as required.
• Maintain and archive complete patient study.
• Ensure the safe and accurate operation of equipment by completing quality control requirements and following manufacturer instructions.
• Generate quality control records daily in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain and order supplies.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Instruct and train students, residents, fellows, and other staff.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Maintain technical competency through continuing education and participate in sponsored training programs.

• Graduate of a Radiologic Program.
• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• ARRT certification required.
