Job Title: Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist

Allied 24/7 is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist to join our team in Riverhead, New York. This is a 12-week local contract position, working 40 hours per week, with a competitive compensation package and excellent benefits.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Computed Tomography (C.T.) Technologist to work in our Riverhead, New York location. As a C.T. Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. You will work closely with our clinical team to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide exceptional patient care
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, imaging procedures, and results
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements:
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification, (CT) certification preferred
  • Licensed technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved)
  • Vaccinated for Influenza, seasonal
