Manor College is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Student Enrollment Specialist.
Position Overview
The Student Enrollment Specialist plays a crucial role in attracting and enrolling students who align with the academic standards and mission of Manor College. This position is primarily accountable for travel and personalized communication with prospective students and their families within a designated region.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties
As a vital member of the Admissions team, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing travel schedules for both fall and spring semesters
- Executing innovative virtual recruitment strategies
- Overseeing all facets of recruitment efforts for assigned territories to achieve specified enrollment targets
- Fostering relationships with prospective students throughout the entire enrollment process
- Conducting interviews, individual meetings, and group information sessions for potential students and their families
- Engaging with prospective students via phone, email, virtual events, and other communication methods throughout the admissions journey
- Evaluating application materials for admission decisions
- Representing Manor College at college fairs, high school outreach, virtual events, and other off-campus engagements
- Building rapport with parents, guidance counselors, and other external stakeholders
- Managing correspondence efficiently
- Completing necessary documentation in a timely manner
- Utilizing the Manor College CRM system (SLATE) for data management
- Performing additional duties as assigned
Reporting Structure
The Student Enrollment Specialist will report directly to the Assistant Director of Admissions. The Admissions Office operates under the supervision of the Dean of Enrollment Management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service abilities
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to manage multiple projects
- Commitment to achieving recruitment objectives and meeting deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary
- Availability for on-campus, off-campus, and virtual recruitment activities as required
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- A Bachelor's Degree is required
- Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory
Technical Skills Required:
Proficient knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel and Word. Familiarity with Technolutions and Slate is preferred. Experience with CRM databases and various reporting systems is advantageous.
