Nurse Practitioner

Ascension is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, MI. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $**95,000** per year.

We are looking for an experienced RN with a passion for providing exceptional patient care and supporting the well-being of individuals within our behavioral health department.

• Provide professional nursing care that ensures mutual goal setting between the Registered Nurse and the patient, protecting patient rights and privacy.
• In collaboration with the patient and/or family, participate in open discussion to identify mutual goals based on the nursing assessment and nursing diagnosis.
• Diagnose, treat and evaluate the human response to actual or potential health problems/needs.
• Evaluate the outcomes of the nursing plan of care and revise it as necessary.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date required.
• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date required.
• Finger Printing obtained prior to hire date required.
