Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at UC Health. As a key member of our Operating Room team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons and anesthesiologists.

About the Role:
  • Support the surgical team in the operating room, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies.
  • Assist with patient positioning, draping, and other necessary tasks.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in surgical technology or related field preferred.
  • 6 months to 2 years of active experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist.
  • Current certification by the Association of Surgical Technologists (AST).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
