Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Telemetry unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and administering medications and treatments according to the medical plan of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor cardiac rhythm and other critical vital signs, interpreting data to identify any signs of distress or abnormal patterns
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary, with a focus on patient's cardiac status
  • Educate patients and their families on best practices for heart health, treatment plans, and any relevant home care instructions
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient's condition, treatment, and progress in accordance with hospital and departmental policies
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and other cardiac monitoring techniques
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
