Physician Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Advisor to join our team at Community Behavioral Health. As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our members.

• Provide clinical leadership and oversight of the clinical management of members
• Consult on overall quality of care, medical decision making, case formulations, and medication safety concerns
• Collaborate with providers and stakeholders on clinical and medical matters, including member placement and coordination of care
• Participate in quality reviews and training and education with internal and external stakeholders
• Review cases from multiple sites and levels of care for medical necessity and perform peer review cases for disputed levels of care

• Medical degree (MD or DO)
• PA Licensure; Board Certified in Adult or Child Psychiatry
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical psychiatry experience, including inpatient care and substance abuse treatment

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and decision making skills

This role requires regular travel within the City of Philadelphia and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to continuous changes and demands of the job.
