Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Night Pharmacist to join our team at Emory Decatur Hospital. As a Night Pharmacist, you will provide leadership, clinical, educational, informational, and distribution functions on the night shift. This includes prioritizing the workload and organizing the workflow of pharmacy technical personnel, identifying performance improvement opportunities, and making recommendations for improving clinical and distributive services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy technical personnel on the night shift
  • Prioritize workload and organize workflow to ensure efficient and effective delivery of services
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities and make recommendations for improving clinical and distributive services
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Licensure or eligibility for licensure in Georgia
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association
  • One year of hospital experience and PGY1 residency preferred
