Key Responsibilities- Lay out, fabricate, and weld piping systems to ensure safe and efficient operation of marine equipment.
- Assemble, install, repair, and maintain marine hydraulic plumbing systems, pipe systems, and structural components.
- Operate hand-held powered equipment and manual tools to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
- Practice proper safety protocols at all times, following instructions from supervisors and maintaining a clean job site.
- Experience with piping systems, fitting, and installation is essential for this role.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches, and templates is required for successful performance.
- Familiarity with industry codes and regulations is necessary to ensure compliance and safety.
- Safe use of all tools and equipment is a must for this position.
- All types of physical movement are required for this position, including crawling, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and bending.
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions, including heat, inclement weather, and cold.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 75 pounds is required for this role.
