Duties and Responsibilities:
Loyola University Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncology Physicist to enhance our faculty at the Loyola Palos South Campus.
The successful candidate will be part of a team of nine medical physicists, responsible for clinical duties across our network, including brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT, TBI, and quality assurance.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) with a PhD in Medical Physics or a related discipline.
- A robust clinical background in Radiation Oncology Physics.
We are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for both independent work and teamwork.
Engagement in teaching physics and medical residents, as well as the establishment of an independent research initiative, is anticipated.
This position is faculty-based, and the rank will be determined based on experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
Board Certification (or Board Eligibility) with a PhD in Medical Physics or a related field, complemented by a strong clinical background in Radiation Oncology Physics.
