Assists with patient care by performing clinical and supportive functions, adhering to policy, procedures, and established standards of practice.
Responsibilities- Provides high-quality patient care, prioritizing patient needs and safety
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to achieve patient-centered care
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
- Develops and maintains knowledge of emergency medical services, critical care, and trauma care
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Minimum 1 year of Paramedic experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Paramedic Certification in good standing in the state of Wisconsin
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
- American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire
