Job Summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a skilled Registered General Ultrasound Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will utilize high-frequency sound waves to produce ultrasound images and related data used by physicians to render a medical diagnosis.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize ultrasound technology to produce high-quality images and data for diagnostic purposes
  • Collaborate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements
  • Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Valid RDMS credential with a breast (BR) specialty
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
