Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a leader in patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct the healthcare team, delegating tasks appropriately and demonstrating accountability.
  • Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Ensure patient safety by utilizing the five rights, preventing falls, decubitus prevention, and nosocomial infections.
  • Provide education to patients and families on medication purposes, side effects, and administration instructions.
  • Document patient care accurately, legibly, dated, and timed, utilizing computer systems effectively and efficiently.
Requirements
  • One year of recent experience in a Critical Care, DOU, or SDU setting, or successful completion of a KP Critical Care, DOU, or SDU course.
  • Registered Nurse License (California)
  • Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certifications
