Job Title: Front Desk Agent

Job Summary:

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay at Hampton Inn Islandia. This role requires a strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive and courteous service to guests during check-in, throughout their stay, and at checkout.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by effectively managing room assignments and rates.
  • Answer guest inquiries regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Be aware of all hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or customer service role preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
