Urology Specialist

Our client, a leading healthcare system in Anderson, South Carolina, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join their urology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work collaboratively with urologists, providing comprehensive care to patients with urological conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings.

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing related to urological conditions.
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic urological issues.
• Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and perform minor urological procedures within the scope of practice.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to urology patients.
• Educate patients and their families on urological conditions, treatment options, medication management, and preventive health practices.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.

• Current South Carolina APRN License or graduate of an accredited PA program with current certification by the NCCPA.
• Experience in Urology is a plus.
