About the Role:
As the Torrance Imaging Services Director, you will be responsible for facilitating quality improvement processes, implementing necessary components to achieve desired outcomes, and managing the delivery of medical imaging and radiological services to patients. Your primary focus will be on developing long-range marketing and business plans, growing strategies, and ensuring safe, efficient, quality imaging services in Torrance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct operations of the department to ensure safe, efficient, quality imaging services.
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive program of diagnostic and therapeutic services by preparing long- and short-range goals and objectives.
- Maintain radiological services in accordance with standards established by Hospital Administration, Chief Radiologist, and State regulations.
- Develop and administer the Quality Improvement Program following standards established by the medical staff and radiologists.
- Collaborate with other departments in planning and coordinating radiological services with patient care services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Healthcare Administration or related healthcare field.
- Master's Degree in Business Healthcare Administration or related healthcare field (preferred).
- 5 years of hospital experience as a Radiologic Technologist or other Imaging discipline.
- 5 years of progressive hospital leadership experience.
- Working knowledge of national healthcare trends, multi-disciplinary professional practice models, reimbursement principles, information systems, cost management, quality management, and customer service needs.
