Cadmium Coater Technician

We are seeking an experienced Cadmium Coater Technician to join our team at Leading Machining Manufacturer. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires expertise in plating operations, including Cadmium, Copper, Silver, Passivate, and Black Oxide.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of plating processes and work closely with experienced department leads to complete tasks and prioritize workloads. We offer a competitive rate structure based on your skills and experience, ranging from $55,000 to $75,000 per year, depending on qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Follow technique cards, customer purchase orders, and instructions to complete tasks accurately.
• Prepare parts for plating operations, including mechanical or chemical cleaning, using proper tooling and fixtures.
• Review paperwork for errors and notify supervisors and quality assurance teams as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals and maintain high-quality standards.
• Develop knowledge of pre- and post-cleaning surface finish requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or aerospace plating environments preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
