About the Role

Sysco is seeking a skilled Diesel Fleet Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnose issues with vehicles and equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Work with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2 years of experience in fleet maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a variety of vehicles and equipment.
  • Knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
