Speech Language Pathologist Job Details

The ideal candidate for this Speech Language Pathologist position will have a strong background in speech therapy and the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of students' speech and language abilities
  • Develop and implement targeted therapy plans to address students' needs
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise on speech and language development
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the applicable state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is a plus
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
