Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering personalized nursing care to residents using the nursing process. Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care. Ensures competency within nursing expertise, delivering care across all phases of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
Adheres to scopes and standards of nursing practice outlined in the Nurse Practice Act. Complies with the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice recognizing the Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses.
Responsibilities- Provides nursing care to residents using the nursing process.
- Collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan and evaluate care.
- Ensures competency within nursing expertise, delivering care across all phases of health maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Preferably a graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program and RN licensed.
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree in nursing, if possible.
- Maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications.
