About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Personal Development Coach at the Naperville Park District.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fitness programming, exercise physiology, and human anatomy. The Personal Development Coach will be responsible for creating customized training plans, leading group fitness classes, and providing one-on-one coaching sessions.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create customized training plans for clients based on their fitness goals and needs
  • Lead group fitness classes, including aerobics, strength training, and flexibility exercises
  • Provide one-on-one coaching sessions to clients, focusing on proper technique and form
  • Develop and implement new fitness programs and services
  • Maintain accurate records of client progress and program evaluations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (kinesiology, exercise science, etc.)
  • More than 2 years of experience in personal training or a related fitness field
  • Certifications in ACE, ACSM, AFAA, NASM, NSCA, or another NCCA-accredited organization
  • Possession of, or ability to obtain, CPR/AED and First Aid certification within 3 months of hire
