Participants will acquire skills to conduct diagnostic MRI assessments of various organs, organ systems, and blood flow studies through structured classroom instruction and hands-on clinical practice. The training encompasses essential topics such as MRI Anatomy, Protocols and Procedures, MRI Physics, MRI Safety, and IV Certification. Clinical rotations will involve engagement with diverse patient demographics, including Inpatient, Outpatient, Critical Care, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Oncology. Graduates will fulfill didactic and clinical prerequisites to qualify for advanced certification in MRI. A commitment to a two-year work period at any Johns Hopkins facility is a requirement post-graduation.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to rotate through multiple imaging site locations in addition to The Johns Hopkins HealthCare.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Completion of an AMA accredited program in Radiologic Technology or its equivalent
  • ARRT certification with current registration
  • CPR certification to be obtained within three months of employment
  • No prior experience necessary

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

Day Shift, with potential evening shifts required during the program
