Advanced Practice Provider

As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Penn Highlands Healthcare, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will administer local, inhalation, intravenous, regional, neuraxial, and other anesthetics to induce total or partial loss of sensation or consciousness in patients during surgery, deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer anesthetics to patients undergoing various medical and dental procedures
• Work collaboratively with the Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) to provide high-quality patient care
• Participate in case mix that includes cardiac, thoracic, vascular, neuro, general, ortho, plastics, ENT, dental, urology, GI, limited pediatrics, gynecology, and obstetrics
Requirements:
• Current RN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania
• Satisfactory completion of a course of training in an accredited school of nurse anesthesia fully recognized by the American Association of Nursing Anesthetists
• National board of certification or recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certified
• Healthcare provider (BLS) certification at time of hire
• ACLS certification at hire, or must obtain within 12 months of hire date
