Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experience.
- Supervise and mentor Advanced Care Practitioners to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Attend internal and external meetings, workshops, and conferences to stay current with industry developments.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Family Medicine or a related field.
- An active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in a Family Practice setting.
- Working knowledge of electronic health records and clinical management systems.
