Physician Assistant

COFMC is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our medical team. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including obtaining thorough medical histories, performing clinical exams, and arranging testing and therapy.
- Document patient encounters accurately and concisely in the patient record.
- Participate in rotational call schedules and consult with supervising physicians as needed.
- Initiate patient referrals and communicate with referral clinicians or agencies.
- Maintain and improve clinical skills through ongoing education and training.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant training program.
- Certified by the state of Oklahoma to practice as a Physician Assistant.
- Eligible for medical malpractice insurance.
- Physical and mental capability to perform the responsibilities of the position.
- Maintains current continuing CME requirements and other credentialing and privileging criteria required for the position.
- Possesses DEA and Oklahoma State Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drug (OBNDD) Control Certificate.
