Customer Service Liaison

As a Customer Service Liaison at Graybar, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with customers on an ongoing basis, entering orders, handling requests, and providing timely, professional, and courteous support. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact, and some retail or counter sales experience is preferred. You will also be responsible for taking an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls, providing support on product selection and application, and coordinating customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit, and claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure every customer experience is top-notch in quality
- Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow-up on all customer issues
- Take an active role in selling Graybar goods and services on inbound calls
- Provide support on product selection and application
- Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit, and claims
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact
- Some retail or counter sales experience preferred
- 2-year or 4-year degree preferred
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00am - 4:00pm
- Predictable work schedule to plan your life around: no weekends or nights for most roles
Compensation:
The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $20.00 per hour depending on experience.
