Job Summary

As a Computed Tomography Technologist at Ephraim McDowell Health, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians in diagnosing diseases and injuries using recognized CT protocols and standards. You will be responsible for performing technical procedures to obtain diagnostic exams of various portions of the body, minimizing ionizing radiation exposure. Working Conditions, Hazards, and Physical Effort

Working in a radiation exposure area, you will be exposed to infectious materials, cuts, and abrasions from equipment. A flexible work schedule is required, and you must be able to lift 25 lbs. independently. Constant physical activity and strenuous activity involved with moving equipment and lifting patients are also expected.

Minimum Qualifications or Equivalents

To be successful in this role, you must have a Graduate degree from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technologists. Additionally, you must hold a KY State License and ARRT certification. Your ability to operate radiation exposure equipment and computers is essential.

Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations

You must be Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Techs and maintain current KY Radiation Operators License.
