About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Security Specialist to join our team at the Civil Commitment Unit for Sex Offenders (CCUSO). This is a full-time opportunity with a strong focus on providing direct-care services of both a security and treatment nature.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision of various patient activities at the CCUSO facility
  • Facilitate psycho-educational group activities
  • Document patient behaviors
  • Operate the master control center
  • Supervise patients on medical trips outside of the facility

Requirements

Graduation from high school, GED, or equivalency is required. Within a period of time after hire, as determined by the appointing authority, persons in this class may be required to complete security training and treatment program training.
