The estimated salary for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the United States can range from $50,000 to over $80,000 per year, based on location, experience, and employer. For this LPN role at First Connect, we are offering a competitive compensation package.
About the Job:
First Connect is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will work closely with our healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care and support the organization's mission. This is a full-time opportunity that requires a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves providing nursing care to patients of all ages, from birth to elderly, and applying age-specific considerations and cultural diversity when rendering patient care. You may work in conjunction with Health Aides to ensure rooms are stocked and check-lists are completed, assist in ordering medical supplies, screen calls over the phone, and assist mid-levels in the clinic after hours. You will also be required to work in a patient care setting, utilize knowledge of medical terminology, and operate office machines and medical equipment. Additionally, you will need to complete IV certification course and non-violent crisis intervention certification.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have graduated from an LNL school for LPNs or LVNs and be licensed as an LPN in the State of Alaska in good standing. We prefer candidates with one year of hospital experience, but new graduates are accepted. You must also hold current CPR certification (BCLS) and pass and maintain competencies for this position.
