About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Allina Health. As a Registered Nurse in our Specialty Care Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patient populations, including those with complex medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with hospitalists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Manage patient populations with simple sepsis, DKA, pain management, respiratory failure, CHF, HTN, MI, withdrawal management, renal failure, and vasopressor management
  • Work closely with nursing assistants and patient care technicians to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical advancements and best practices
Requirements
  • Associate's or Vocational degree in Nursing
  • 1+ year of current SCU experience or intermediate experience
  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota
  • BLS certification
  • ACLS certification (Tier 2)
