Safety and Security Officer

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Security Officer to join our team at Newtown Athletic Club. As a Safety and Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our members and guests.

**Responsibilities:**

* Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility and respond immediately to any emergency situations.
* Provide emergency care and treatment as needed until medical help arrives.
* Enforce all aquatic facility policies, rules, and regulations.
* Conduct daily inspections of the facility and report any hazards or equipment issues to the supervisor.
* Test and report chemical levels to the supervisor.
* Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times and provide excellent customer service.
* Perform various maintenance duties as directed to ensure a clean and safe facility.
* Prepare and maintain accurate activity reports.
* Complete additional duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**

* Current certification in Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED from the American Red Cross or Shallow Water Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED.
* Prior experience preferred.
* Must be able to pass a PA Criminal Background Check.

**Work Schedule:**

This is a seasonal position with variable hours, including weekends and holidays.
