We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse Inpatient Rehab Specialist to join our team at Del Sol Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare delivery team, you will provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality healthcare.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct patient education and provide support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including progress notes and discharge summaries.
- Current RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
- Current BCLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation nursing, preferably in a Level II trauma center.
- Attainment of CRRN or willingness to obtain within 2 years of employment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish.
- Knowledge of body substance isolation and infection control practices.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems.
