Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our Culinary team at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for creating and preparing high-quality pastries, breads, and desserts for our food and beverage outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare pastry food items according to designated recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards.
  • Stock, maintain, and ensure proper storage and refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared product.
  • Develop new products for a-la-carte and catering menus, with the guidance of the Pastry Chef.
  • Practice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal, state, local, and company regulations.
  • Display and set baked products on mobile carts according to specifications.
  • Prepare daily requisitions for supplies and food items.
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in the pastry making industry preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of pastry techniques and methods.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Riverside County Food Handlers License.
  • Schedule availability to work weekends and holidays.
