Kubernetes Cluster Architect Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Kubernetes Cluster Architect to lead the design and implementation of our Kubernetes clusters.

Responsibilities:

  • Cluster Design: Design scalable and secure Kubernetes clusters
  • Implementation: Implement and maintain these clusters, ensuring high availability and performance
  • Integration: Integrate with other systems and services to ensure seamless operation
  • Support: Provide exceptional support to users and teams, resolving issues efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in Kubernetes cluster design and implementation
  • Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes: Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes administration, deployment, and management
  • Scripting languages: 6+ years of proficiency in scripting languages such as KSH, Bash, and Python
  • CICD pipelines and GitOps practices: 6+ years of familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Maven)
  • Problem-solving skills: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues

Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 per annum
