Job Summary

CVS Health is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our team as a District Support Pharmacist PT. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the management of our pharmacies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing pharmacy technicians
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow management
  • Lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
  • Motivate and develop pharmacy support staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities
  • Identify business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance
  • Implement solutions by leading the team to achieve specified goals
  • Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting
Requirements
  • Active pharmacy license in the state of employment
  • Not on the DEA excluded parties list
  • Immunization certification through an accredited organization
  • Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree
