Gastroenterology Specialist Wanted in South Carolina

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterology physician to join our team in South Carolina. This is a long-term locum opportunity that requires coverage for at least two weeks per month throughout the year.
Candidates must be board certified in Gastroenterology and willing to work both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as clinic procedures under moderate sedation with assistance from nurses and an Endo Tech. The ideal candidate will have experience with up to 8-10 outpatient procedures daily, including EGD, colonoscopy, and other GI procedures.
The schedule includes clinic hours from 8 am to 5 pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8 am to 4 pm (Friday), with an average of 8-12 inpatients and 1-2 procedures per day. The EMR system used is EPIC, and ERCP and EUS procedures are no longer required.
This position offers a competitive salary, estimated to be around $400,000 annually, based on industry standards and the location in South Carolina. Other benefits include expedited credentialing and flexible scheduling.
