About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Dishwasher to join our team at FoodPlus. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scrape and rinse food from dirty dishes, pots, pans, and trays, and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine.
  • Wash pots, pans, and trays based on assigned procedures, ensuring complete cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Polish silver using burnishing machines, chemical dips, buffing wheels, and hand cloths, depending on assigned equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with outlined safety procedures and maintain temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by provided standards.
  • Keep the dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards, sweeping and mopping kitchen floors to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
  • Wash worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks, and other food prep surfaces, and remove trash and place it in designated containers.
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, and help load and unload supplies and product.
