Job Summary:

The Nursing Supervisor assumes responsibility for overseeing the delivery of direct and indirect nursing care to patients, families, and relevant stakeholders during their shift. This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary team members, guiding nursing staff to achieve safe and effective healthcare outcomes. The Nursing Supervisor plays a crucial role in supporting the facility's vision, mission, and objectives while providing professional leadership and mentorship to the healthcare team. The principles of Patient-Centered Care will serve as the foundation for all nursing practices.

Qualifications

Shift: FULL TIME NIGHTS

Education:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN is mandatory.

Experience:

A minimum of one (1) year of full-time or three (3) years of part-time experience in acute care specialty nursing is required. Supervisory experience of one (1) to three (3) years is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in physical assessment of cardiovascular patients and a solid understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology is essential. Comfort with 12-lead EKG interpretation and cardiac arrhythmias is required. Experience in stress testing is advantageous.

Licensure/Certification:

Current RN license in the state of practice. Current BLS certification is required. ACLS, PALS, NRP, and/or other specialty training or course completion must be current upon hire.
