Customer Service Expertise

As a Teller Trainee at Rockland Trust, you will be the face of our organization, providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients. You will be responsible for greeting customers, answering their queries, and resolving any issues they may have in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient and effective customer service in person and via telephone
  • Process transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments
  • Offer personalized advice and guidance to customers on Rockland Trust banking products
  • Work closely with the training team to learn about the responsibilities and complete Rockland Trust's Teller Training
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable using technology, including computers, to facilitate the achievement of business goals
  • Sales and service-oriented personality
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance
  • Positive approach to interactions with customers and team members
  • Ability to work within normal office requirements, with long periods of standing and continuous customer support
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness and ability to work within a flexible work week, which may include weekends, as customer needs dictate
  • Ability to successfully complete our training program

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Candidates should have 1-2 years prior teller experience or cash handling/customer service skills
