Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and design sophisticated algorithms to interpret raw sensor data for identifying defects and accurately localizing issues in high-resolution images or 3D data.
  • Engineer software solutions for real-time application on production lines, ensuring rapid algorithm execution with response times under 20 milliseconds for each decision.
  • Establish metrics and tools to evaluate model performance, fostering transparency and understanding of our systems.
  • Investigate pioneering technologies such as Stable Diffusion and SAM to transform the field, developing applications for essential operational tasks.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline; equivalent practical experience is also acceptable. A robust understanding of applied mathematics is essential.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years focused on creating machine learning models for computer vision applications in production settings.
  • Proficient in Deep Learning methodologies, particularly with frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Strong Python programming skills are necessary for developing efficient solutions within large codebases.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills, with the ability to articulate experimental decisions and balance exploration with exploitation.
  • Demonstrated resilience in navigating complex and challenging scenarios.

Preferred Skills:

  • Practical experience with image generation techniques using diffusion models and other generative methods.
  • A proven history of optimizing model inference processes.
  • Familiarity with computer vision algorithms that extend beyond traditional machine learning.
