Position: Senior Financial Associate
Location: Miami, FL (in-office role)
Compensation: $125,000 - $175,000, plus performance bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine financial models, particularly for multi-family residential projects or hotel developments.
- Conduct financial modeling for intricate equity, debt, and partnership arrangements.
- Perform general financial analysis for project-specific challenges.
- Analyze project documentation and translate legal terms into financial consequences.
- Enhance, manage, and sustain the group’s information and statistical databases.
- Collect industry insights and conduct market research from diverse sources.
- Carry out due diligence associated with the aforementioned tasks.
- Draft memoranda and prepare presentations.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a focus on innovative yet practical solutions.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Educational background in finance.
- 4 to 5 years of substantial financial analysis or investment banking experience, particularly in ground-up real estate development.
- Significant experience in multi-family and/or hospitality development is highly advantageous.
- Experience in managing an analyst team is preferred, although candidates ready to step into a leadership role will be considered.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory; a Master's degree from a reputable institution is a plus.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools for data acquisition and report generation.
- Knowledge of real estate and loan documentation, including due diligence reports.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present analyses and recommendations effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment while prioritizing deliverables.
- Strong organizational capabilities.
- Demonstrated management skills, including effective hiring practices.
