Job Overview

MEKRA Lang North America, LLC is seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join its team. As a key member of the organization, this individual will be responsible for ensuring the consistent and adequate supply of materials necessary for production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement material plans to meet production goals and timelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material specifications, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
  • Monitor production volume and customer demand patterns to inform material planning decisions.
  • Coordinate with operations, manufacturing, and purchasing to ensure seamless material supply and delivery.
  • Manage inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations to minimize disruptions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or logistics.
  • 2+ years of experience managing material plans for construction projects or large-scale material moves.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and technologies, and ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with SAP.
