Old Chicago is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Wash and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware to prevent cross-contamination and maintain a clean working environment.
- Scrape and remove food residue from dishes and equipment, and wash them thoroughly to prevent re-contamination.
- Sort and remove trash and recyclables, and ensure the dish area remains clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Operate the dish machine and maintain the chemical levels to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect and verify the machine's proper functioning and chemical levels throughout the workday.
- Perform cleaning tasks, such as mopping and wiping down surfaces, to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in a loud environment and meet guest expectations.
- Ability to walk and stand during the entire shift.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and wipe.
- Ability to carry and lift 10-30 pounds.
- Adherence to the Old Chicago Taprooms Appearance Standards.
